Effective date: June 9, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Haile Training app.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Haile Training, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Developer
Haile Training is provided by:
Oskar Rönnbäck
Sweden
info@hailetraining.app
In these Terms, “Haile Training,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the developer of the app.
2. Apple App Store Terms
Haile Training is distributed through Apple’s App Store. These Terms are between you and Haile Training only, not Apple.
Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, support, warranties, or claims relating to the app, except as required under Apple’s applicable terms.
Your use of Haile Training must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the App Store Usage Rules.
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
3. License
Haile Training is licensed, not sold, to you.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use Haile Training on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s App Store Usage Rules, including Family Sharing or volume purchasing where applicable.
We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
4. License Restrictions
You may not:
– Copy, distribute, rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or transfer the app except as allowed by Apple’s Usage Rules
– Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where applicable law allows it
– Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
– Use the app for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes
– Interfere with the app’s security, functionality, or operation
– Use the app in a way that violates applicable laws, Apple’s terms, YouTube’s terms, or any third-party rights
If you sell or transfer a device on which Haile Training is installed, you must remove the app first.
5. The App
Haile Training is a workout planning, tracking, and training management app.
The app may allow you to create, store, import, export, back up, and share workouts, programs, exercises, results, comments, photos, and related training information.
Your app data is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, import, email, or otherwise send it outside the app.
6. Health and Fitness Disclaimer
Haile Training is provided for general fitness, workout planning, and training tracking purposes only.
Haile Training does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation advice, or professional healthcare services. The app is not a medical device and is not intended to replace advice from a doctor, physiotherapist, coach, or other qualified professional.
You are responsible for your own training decisions. Exercise involves risk, including risk of injury. You should consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, pain, health concern, or are unsure whether exercise is safe for you.
You use Haile Training and perform all training at your own risk, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Apple Health
Haile Training may request permission to read selected Apple Health data, such as body mass, resting heart rate, and VO2 max, to display trends in the Dashboard.
Haile Training does not send Apple Health data to our servers. Health data is used locally in the app.
You can grant, deny, or revoke Apple Health permissions through iOS Settings or the Apple Health app.
You must not use Haile Training or Apple Health data from the app for medical emergencies or as the sole basis for health, medical, or safety decisions.
8. Camera, Photos, Sharing, Backup, and Import
Haile Training may request camera or photo library access when you use workout image sharing features.
If you choose to export, back up, import, or share data, you are responsible for the information you select and the people, apps, services, or storage locations you send it to.
We do not control third-party apps or services used through iOS sharing tools, including AirDrop, Mail, Files, cloud storage, messaging apps, or social platforms.
9. Purchases and Subscriptions
Haile Training may offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple is responsible for payment processing, refunds, billing, cancellation tools, and payment information.
Subscription terms, renewal, cancellation, and refund rules are governed by Apple’s applicable App Store terms. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings.
We do not receive or store your payment card details.
10. YouTube Content
Haile Training may allow you to add YouTube video IDs to exercises and view YouTube videos in the app.
You are responsible for ensuring that any YouTube video IDs or linked content you add are lawful and appropriate for your use.
YouTube videos are provided by YouTube or Google, not Haile Training. When you load or view YouTube content, YouTube or Google may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
You must comply with YouTube’s applicable terms and policies. We do not host YouTube videos and are not responsible for YouTube content, availability, advertising, recommendations, or data practices.
If we become aware that linked content violates applicable law, third-party rights, or platform policies, we may take appropriate action where technically possible.
11. User Content and Responsibility
You may create or store content in the app, such as workouts, programs, exercise names, comments, results, photos, and video IDs.
You retain ownership of your content.
You are responsible for your content and for ensuring that it does not violate laws, third-party rights, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or these Terms.
You must not create, store, import, export, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
Because Haile Training stores app data locally and does not operate user accounts or a public posting service, we generally do not access, moderate, or control your local content.
12. Feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or feature requests, you allow us to use them to improve Haile Training without compensation, obligation, or attribution to you.
You retain ownership of any rights you may have in your feedback, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, modify, and incorporate it into the app or related services.
13. Privacy
Your use of Haile Training is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at:
https://hailetraining.app/privacy-policy
The Privacy Policy explains what data is stored locally, what permissions the app may request, and how support emails are handled.
14. Maintenance and Support
Haile Training may provide updates, bug fixes, or support, but we are not obligated to provide maintenance or support except where required by applicable law.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Haile Training.
15. Updates and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Haile Training at any time.
Updates may add, change, or remove features. Some features may require a newer version of iOS, a compatible device, an active purchase or subscription, Apple Health availability, internet access, or third-party service availability.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. If you continue using the app after changes become effective, you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
16. Availability and Third-Party Services
Haile Training may depend on Apple services, StoreKit, Apple Health, iOS sharing tools, YouTube, or other third-party services.
We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their content, their terms, or their privacy practices.
Features may be unavailable, limited, or changed due to device limitations, operating system changes, App Store rules, regional availability, third-party service changes, or legal requirements.
17. No Warranty
Haile Training is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with all devices, or suitable for your specific training goals.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
If Haile Training fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price where required by Apple’s terms or applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Haile Training and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of training progress, personal injury, or damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intent, gross negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights where such limits are prohibited.
19. Product Claims
Haile Training, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to the app or your use of the app, including:
– Product liability claims
– Claims that the app fails to comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements
– Claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws
– Claims relating to the app’s use of HealthKit
Contact us at info@hailetraining.app for product claims.
20. Intellectual Property
Haile Training, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other content, is owned by the developer or licensed to the developer and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not use Haile Training’s name, branding, content, or intellectual property except as allowed by these Terms or with prior written permission.
If a third party claims that Haile Training infringes their intellectual property rights, Haile Training, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling, or resolving the claim.
21. Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that:
– You are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a terrorist-supporting country
– You are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties
– Your use of Haile Training complies with applicable laws and regulations
22. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated by you or us.
Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically if you violate them. Upon termination, you must stop using Haile Training and delete all copies of the app in your possession or control.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, liability limits, governing law, and dispute-related provisions.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
If you are a consumer living in another country, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections that cannot legally be waived.
24. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain in effect.
The invalid or unenforceable part will be interpreted or replaced, to the extent permitted by law, in a way that best achieves the original purpose.
25. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable Apple terms, form the agreement between you and Haile Training regarding your use of the app.
Any failure by us to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
