This Privacy Policy explains how Haile Training handles information when you use the Haile Training app.

Haile Training is designed to keep your training data private. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not collect, receive, sell, rent, or track your app usage, workout data, health data, photos, or other app data on our servers.

Data Stored on Your Device

Haile Training stores the data you create in the app locally on your device. This may include:

  • Workouts, programs, exercises, sets, reps, results, comments, dates, and training history
  • App preferences such as theme and unit settings
  • Onboarding choices used to personalize the app experience
  • Locally stored counters or settings used for app features

This information stays on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, import, email, or otherwise send it outside the app.

Apple Health

Haile Training may ask for permission to read selected Apple Health data so the app can show health and progress trends in the Dashboard.

The app may request read access to:

  • Body mass
  • Resting heart rate
  • VO2 max

Haile Training does not send Apple Health data to our servers. Health data is used locally in the app to display charts and insights.

You can manage or revoke Apple Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.

Camera and Photo Library

Haile Training may ask for permission to access your camera or photo library when you use workout image sharing features.

Camera and photo access is used only so you can:

  • Take a workout photo
  • Choose a photo from your library
  • Create or save a workout image for sharing

Photos are not sent to us. Any sharing is controlled by you through iOS sharing tools or other apps you choose.

Sharing, Export, Backup, and Import

Haile Training lets you export, back up, import, and share workout or app data files.

When you choose to share or export data, the selected information may be sent to other people, apps, services, or storage locations chosen by you, such as AirDrop, Mail, Files, cloud storage, or messaging apps.

We do not control how third-party apps or services handle information after you share it with them.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Haile Training uses Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases and subscriptions.

Purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple may provide the app with purchase status information needed to unlock paid features.

Apple’s handling of purchase and App Store information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy and terms.

YouTube Videos

Haile Training allows users to add YouTube video IDs to exercises and view those videos inside the app.

When you load a YouTube video, YouTube or Google may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. Haile Training does not control YouTube’s data practices.

Support and Feedback Emails

If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address, your message, and any information you choose to include.

We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, improve quality, or handle legal or security matters. We do not use support emails for advertising or marketing.

Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your support correspondence by contacting us.

Information We Do Not Collect

Haile Training does not collect or receive the following on our servers:

  • App analytics
  • Advertising data
  • Tracking data
  • Location data
  • Contacts
  • Microphone recordings
  • User account data
  • Workout or training data
  • Apple Health data
  • Camera or photo library content
  • Device identifiers for advertising or tracking

The app does not use third-party advertising networks or third-party analytics services.

Legal Disclosure

We may disclose information from support communications if required by law, court order, government request, or if necessary to protect our rights, users, or the security of the app.

International Users and Privacy Rights

Haile Training may be used in different countries and regions. Because we do not collect app data on our servers, most privacy requests related to app data cannot be fulfilled by us because we do not have access to that data.

If you have contacted us by email, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, depending on your location. These rights may include the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information you provided to us.

Children’s Privacy

Haile Training does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support email, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it where required by law.

Data Security

App data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s platform storage protections. You are responsible for protecting your device, backups, and any exported or shared files.

For support emails, we use reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. However, no email or electronic communication method is completely secure.

Data Retention

Haile Training does not retain app usage, workout, health, photo, or training data on our servers.

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, delete specific content, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove it through iOS or app features.

Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, business, legal, or security purposes.

Your Choices

You can:

  • Decline Apple Health access
  • Revoke Apple Health access in iOS Settings or the Apple Health app
  • Decline camera or photo library access
  • Revoke camera or photo library access in iOS Settings
  • Choose whether to export, back up, import, or share data
  • Delete local app data by deleting content in the app or uninstalling the app
  • Contact us to request deletion of support emails you have sent us
Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy and update the effective date.

Your continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy, where permitted by law.
